Think Bungalow Cafe is the best place for breakfast in Sunderland with a great view over Roker sea front. Had the xl breakfast and my mother had the small breakfast which is quite a size too. Breakfast spot on, staff friendly and reasonably priced. Canny size tea pot if you just want tea. I'd highly recommend.

Went in on a Saturday morning and tried their XL breakfast . It truly lived up to its reputation with three of everything and frankly I was nearly defeated. Exceptionally well cooked with good quality ingredients it was brilliant value for money . The staff are very friendly. It does get very busy but frankly wait for a table if need be as you will miss an absolute gem if you don't

Talk about a breakfast with a view. This wasn’t our first visit, we knew their breakfasts were legendary. I opted for eggs Benedict this time. Definitely gave it their own twist! The hollandaise was perfect, eggs beautifully cooked. Would probably have preferred different bread, but it was decent. The salad was nice, but unexpected.I had a pot of decaf tea and it was huge. Enough for at least 2-3 big cups.Quick, pleasant service, gorgeous setting and delicious food.

Lovely cafe situated right at Roker harbour entrance, with a great view across the water. Great for breakfasts, large portions, and quick friendly service. Limited seating, window seats always go first. Some parking outside, but lots of parking on streets in local area.

Lovely little cafe over looking the sea. Had a nice breakfast while watching the sunrise and not too expensive.
